The Complete Guide to solving Week-2 Challenges of Season-4 in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
The second week of
Season 4 of Fortnite: Battle Royale has started, and with it, a whole new set of
challenges has surfaced. The below screenshot gives the complete list of Week-2
Challenges. And I am here to tell you the different ways you can follow in
order to finish them. Without any further ado, let’s get right into it..
Another important
note, if you want to play these challenges, you would have to purchase the
Season 4 Battle Pass.
As you can see, completing
these challenges would yield you XP, either 500 or 1000 XP or getting the grand
prize of 5000 XP.
All the challenges are
pretty much straightforward and easy to do.
Search Chests in Greasy Grove:
This is pretty
straightforward because you just have to search the chests found scattered
around Greasy Grove, the area located in the South-West side of the map, near
to Tilted Towers.
Consume Hop Rocks:
Hop Rocks are nothing
but the gravity defying rocks that are found lying around Dusty Divot. They are
the remnants from the meteor crash. So Dusty Divot is the best place to find
them. The only problem is that now, it will be swarming with people. So make
sure that you don’t sniped. Otherwise, if you just want to finish the
challenge, just drop in the area initially and gather as much as possible and
when you die, just retry again to complete the challenge.
Deal damage with Suppressed Weapons to opponents:
If possible, go with
the Silenced Pistol, as it offers the best firepower. My suggestion is to
complete this challenge first by getting a Suppressed Weapon and going straight
for Dusty Divot as that place would be swarming with player during the early
days of the second week.
Dance in front of different film cameras:
This involves showing
off your dance moves. That’s right, you just have to dance in front of any of
the seven cameras scattered around the map. You will have to find seven
cameras.
Some of these are at
obvious locations such as the film sets.
So far I have
found 10, of which you would have to visit 7 in order to complete
the challenge
Once you find a camera location, all you have to
do is perform a dance emote in front of the camera.
I have complied all the locations and marked them on the map to help you find it easily.
The various camera locations are -
- Inside
the church in Haunted hills.
- Inside
the Football Pitch, west of Tilted Towers, just off pitch, right in the
center.
- On the Metal Bridge, south of Retail Row,
right in the center.
- Moisty
Mire #1 - Among the Westernmost green screens and buildings.
- Moisty
Mire #2 - Among the Easternmost structures, on top of the rail track.
- On
the west of Greasy Grove, south of the enormous hill.
- On
the Race Track, located to the East of Retail Row, on the Western tip of
the squiggly race track itself.
- In
the basement of the large house to the North West of Shifty Shafts.
- Inside
the building to the northeast of Junk Junction.
- Inside
the building to the north of Risky Reels.
Search between a Scarecrow, Pink Hot Rod and a Big Screen:
This is similar to
last week’s Treasure hunt mission. But in this case, the clue is pretty clear
(i.e) search between the three mentioned objects. So if you want to complete
this task, you would have to have good knowledge of the map. If you are still
unable to narrow it down, no worries, just follow my lead.
For a quick look at
the location of the three objects triangulating to the treasure.
As seen above, the
first object that you can easily find is the Big screen, which you can find on
the South side of Risky Reels, the new location of Season 4. Next, Pink
colored Hot Rod is found on the Northern side next to a pickup truck, a little
to the right of the Big Screen location. And the final location of the
Scarecrow, is to the far East of Risky Reels, near a couple of chairs.
By triangulating the
three locations, you arrive at a small hill. Near this hill, you will find a
building within a compound. The treasure will appear on the patch of dirt on
this hill. The treasure is nothing but a Free Battle Pass Tier.
Explosive Weapon Eliminations:
In this challenge, I
would suggest you to go to Dusty Divot as it would be crowded now and you just
use the explosives to complete the challenge. But keep in mind that, the
players in Dusty Divot could be a lit “jumpy”.
Eliminate Opponents in Tomato Town:
This is pretty much a
luck based challenge. Because in order to complete this challenge, you got to
have players to kill in Tomato Town, and I believe the best way to complete
this challenge is by landing in Flush Factory and going for offensive as soon
as get the chance. Also if possible, try to couple this challenge with the
“Eliminate Opponents with Explosives” Challenge. It would be like killing two
birds with one stone.
The Grand Prize!!!!!
After finally
completing all the Week 2 challenges, the loading screen changes to something
new. Check out the loading screen below.
If you observe the
loading screen closely, you will be able to find 4 coordinates on the brick wall
behind the character in the image. The coordinates are A3, A4, B3, and B4.
If you go to the
point inbetween these four coordinates, you will find a hidden Battle Star.
Collecting it will award you with a free Battle Pass tier.
