Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War finally arrives on Fortnite: Battle Royale! Here’s how you can play as the “Mad Titan”

As I posted yesterday, Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War has finally arrived on Fortnite: Battle Royale with a bang. You can play as the “Mad Titan” by wielding the Infinity Gauntlet which randomly falls anywhere on the battlefield. Once you get your hands on the Infinity Gauntlet, it transforms you into the “Mad Titan” Thanos himself.

How to become Thanos in Fortnite: Battle Royale:

There are two ways in which you can become Thanos in the game.

1. Grab the Infinity Gauntlet as it falls on the battlefield.

The Infinity Gauntlet is pretty much marked on the map and so you won’t have any issue finding it. The question is if you will be able to get your hands on it before anyone else.

2. Grab the Infinity Gauntlet as it drops after defeating the player who became Thanos.

You can expect all the players to go after the Infinity Gauntlet or the player who has become Thanos. So if you want to play as the “Mad Titan”, its better to kill him or better still, let others kill him. Killing him causes the Gauntlet to drop. At this moment, try to score the Gauntlet but do remember that you are not the only one after it.

Abilities of Thanos:

Ability 1 : A mighty punch capable of knocking enemies back and taking out structures.

Ability 2 : Thanos drop punches while in mid air to cause area damage

Ability 3 : Use the Power Stone to shoot a beam of energy that deals damage over time.

Ability 4 : A super jump that makes Thanos scale even the tallest structures.

Apart from these, he also has both shields and health like other players.

His shields can be regenerated. All you have to do is kill an enemy and your shields are instantly regenerated. However this does not apply to your health. If you lose your health, it is a permanent loss. And there is no way to replenish your health.

Also, it is noted that Thanos does not take fall damage.

Also, Thanos is not capable of building or picking up weapons. Of course, why does he need all those, when he has the greatest power in his own hands.

Weaknesses of Thanos:

He moves so slow. That’s right, I don’t know if he is playing all mighty or what, but he just moves too slow. That’s his first weakness. So if a couple of players gang up on you, which I am pretty sure will happen a lot..you are pretty much done for. Also to make it easier for your enemies, your location is very much visible on the map just like the location of the Infinity Gauntlet.

But apart from this, You are pretty much the Mad Titan, that the Avengers and the rest of the world  fears in the movie "Avengers: Infinity Wars".

It will be interesting to see if the “Mad Titan” will stick around after the limited cross-over event but I highly doubt it. So After its primary goal is to market the movie. Anyway I hope Epic Games will be doing more future Cross-overs like these. It will be interesting to see what they have up their sleeves next.
