How To Evolve Eevee Into Glaceon And Leafeon, Without Lure Module, In Pokemon GO

Finally, the Generation 4 evolutions for Eevee has been released for Pokemon GO. Leafeon, the Grass type and Glaceon, the ice type has been added to the roster this Friday.

Evolving Eevee into Leafeon and Glaceon with a Lure Module

The most obvious way to evolve Eevee is by using a Lure Module. You can only obtain the Lure Module from the in-game store for 200 coins a piece. These Modules work the same way as the other modules.

You will have to use the Lure Module at a Pokestop. Then just select the Eevee you wish to evolve and then the Evolution button should indicate that you are ready to go. You should remember that you should have 25 Eevee candies also.

• Glacial Lure Module - To evolve Eevee into Glaceon.
• Mossy Lure Module - To evolve Eevee into Leafeon.

Niantic has revealed that they will reveal special research tasks at a later date, which you can complete to obtain the Lure Modules

Evolving Eevee into Leafeon and Glaceon by Naming your Eevee

Just like other Eevee Evolutions, you can rename your Eevee to help evolve it into either a Leafeon or Glaceon.

• Rename your Eevee into "Linnea" to get Leafeon.
• Rename your Eevee into "Rea" to get Glaceon.

Once you have renamed it, you will notice that the Evolution button will change into the silhouette of the chosen evolution.

After Evolution, you can change the name back to your desired one.
